I'm new to the forum but I am a frequent visitor of Tom's hardware pages for some years.
I have a big problem, which in my long experience with computers has never come to me before.
Till now I used Nvidia and Ati graphic cards, so neither side is new to me.
Now I have Ati HD3450 which has D-Sub, DVI and one 7 pin S-video connector. I have an old catode ray TV, which has (as usual) fron and rear SCART connectors. So I tried to connect my graphic card with the connector I recived with it, it's a 7 pin S-video to YPbPr (as you all know) and into every one of them I connected chinch S-video from my scart cable and the other side of the SCART cable I plug into my TV. The result black and white image. OK. I tried another solution, I have a connector 7 pin S-video to chinch S-video, put it in my card, into chinch i plug chinch from my SCART cable, and into TV, but I get the same result. What can I do to have a color picture on my TV. Regional settings are defined as PAL-B, taking into consideration that I live in Europe.
