Hdd speedfan report

after doing an analysis of my 2 hdd my brand new hdd is only at 92% where as my 4 year old hdd is at 90%

why is my new hdd only showing at 92% is this anything to be worried about? This is the report.

As near as I can tell, speedfan measures performance by analyzing all smart values, not just the ones that most manufacturer's mark as critical. For example, your power on hours will always read "ok" since there is no way for it to fail. However if you run you computer 24/7 the power on hours will be high, thus causing speedfan to report your performance below 100%.

my copncern is that its a brand new drive and has this

what is this eec recovered mean and whats its significance considering this is a brand new drive.

Doh! I didn't notice the warning. Wikipedia has a chart listing the attributes, but isn't specific on the ECC. If the counter resets every time you power down, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are concerned about it and the drive is still under warranty, I'm sure you can RMA the drive.

whats concerns me is i cant find any information on this eec? So I dont even know if its something worth worring about.
