I picked up a 
2005 Toshiba l20 -183 Satellite with a Celeron M and 499Mb RAM 
, popped in my trusted XPSP3 (ripping out the RAM hogging 'Wista Gnome OS' that some 
m*r*n had lovingly installed), added a few tried and tested (7years, 9 upgrades (Celeron 2 128MB RAM - Core2 4GB RAM) and plenty of WTF's later) tweaks and...
Bravo!
'Cele' M fired up all 1.6Ghz and purred along faster than my mummies 'WGOS' i3 1GB RAM Compaq....
Out came MOHAAS and the rest of my 'Cele' era games and in they went....
...... slower than I remembered....
But successfully nonetheless
up to..... game time.... then...
....Yet another WTF?....
My faithful Logitech wireless usb mouse just plain stopped working till I exited the games.
The touchpad works fine (SUX for playing MOST games though....) but no matter what I do, in-game the mouse dies...
