A customer friendly company would give automatic credits, and not make
folks jump through hoops to get them.

Without Tivo Comcast would be just another cable company with nothing
to offer but poor reception, poor service and as many lies as they can
fit into a 30 second spot. They grabbed at the only lifeline they could
find, a solid software package that does everything its users want
without all the headaches they love to provide. Rather than admit it
you revert to calling names.
