Hello,

Here's my setup:

CPU: 2600 i7

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance

Hard Drive 1: OCZ SATA 3 agility 3 60gb

HDD 2: Seagate Momentus 500 GB Hybrid

External Hard Drive: Western Digital 1tb 7200rpm

Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 285

Powersupply: Antec 650 watt eartwatt

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

This computer will only do HD video editing and photoshop.
I will use Vegas Pro 10, CS5 Premiere, Photoshop CS5.

I wonder how I should configure all for having the best time rendering / processing for video editing etc..

1-All Programs on the Momentus Hybrid and I use the video file for ssd, I liberated when finished and transfer on my external hard drive.

or

2-Windows, Vegas, Premiere and Photoshop on the SSD, I do my video on the momentus

or

3-Windows on the SSD, the programs on the momentus and I use the rest of the ssd for video, which when finished ends on the external hard drive.

or

4 -??!

Thank you
Phil

Hey, a fellow Phil!

My educated guess would be 2 since the most time consuming part of video editing is the final rendering/ transcoding, and the Momemtus will handle the streaming reading/writing data just fine. However, you may also get a boost by selecting the final destination for your video to be on the SSD, then copy to the Momentus.
