Hi all

these are my system specs

MSI P35 Neo
Core2duo 2.26
4GB ram (2x2GB)
1HDD
1DVD Writer
450w PSU which only have 1 12V-18A rail.

I'm planing to upgrade my Graphic Card but not the PSU.
Would like to move to a 9600GT,9800GT or equal Radeon (dont know much about Radeon).
I heard that Radeon cards are much energy efficient than GeForcs.

1. What is the best fit for me?
2. Should I move to a Low Power/Energy Efficient card?
3. Is there any incompatibility with MSI mother boards?

Please help.

That PSU is too weak to even power a 4830, you really really should upgrade the PSU, you can get a passively cooled 4650 which shouldnt put too much load on it, a regular 9800GT will almost certainly over tax it.

That's going to be nearly impossible. Here's a possibility though:

There are no 2.26GHz core2duos that i was able to find so its impossible to figure out how much power your CPU draws using one of the PSU calculators without you provide the specific model, but you only have 216 watts where it counts, i know you want to be cheap and only buy what you need but dont be so cheap you lose the whole rig.

Have a look for one of these then.
