e8x00 are quite slow, if dont plan to oc it to over 4ghz then it's not worth it. pick up a nice am3 mobo, ddr3 and http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ [...] 6819103649 you will be more happy with this and also, you will be able to change it in the future for sth new and much more powerful. s775 is dying now while am3 is not. your psu might be a little too weak in the future so i'd take OCZ 600wats, since they are good and cheap.

Budget system? I don't think you call ~$800 computers (w/o GPU) + peripherals a budget computer... This would be a budget system:
