Hey all,

I have overclocked my gtx460 1gb and my cpu i7 2600 from 3.4 to 4.1GHz,

Gigabyte GTX460 1gb Factory oced.

Core : 715mhz

Memory : 1430mhz

Shader : 1700mhz

Gigabyte GTX460 1gb overclocked (custom)

Core : 850mhz

Memory : 2000

Shader : 1700

Idle : 40 Degrees

Load : 75 Degrees

also is this temp overheating?

as you can see pretty nice clock speeds, my question is have i unlocked my card to a new gfx card like how you can unlock the 6950 to a 6970?

No. You're just making what you have run faster. Nothing wrong with that, but some 6950s have parts that are disabled and can be unlocked much like some AMD processors have cores that can be unlocked. They do more work using the unlocked parts. I don't think your 460 will perform anywhere near a 560ti or 6950, but don't worry about it. Just enjoy your free fps.

Thank you all for your replies :)

The temps you posted are in celcius and are for the GPU? What fan speeds are the cards running , are they at max or less? There is not much to worry about for the CPU as that is not much of an overclock for that processor.

Yes they are in celcius and the fan speeds run at max using MSI Afterburner.
