You dont need an 850tx even for crossfire, get a 750tx for future crossfiring. Enthusiast Layout supporting 2-Way, 3-Way, and 3-Way SLI w/ PhysX. no crossfiring so, ati and this board wont be useful. Asus P6T SE is the same price and crossfire ready or change the gpu to a gtx 275 for sli in future. So for xfire : Asus P6T SE / Gigabyte UD3R x58 motherboards will do. if your sticking with evga, get a gtx 275.
No need for a GTX275 at those resolutions, get a GTX260 or a 4870 like you already have listed. Also ALL X58 chipsets support crossfire, some just dont pay the licensing fee for SLI support. I agree with dropping down to the 750TX, it will save you a bit, im not sure how bing cash back works, it seems kind of sketchy to me.
oh i forgot to mention the reason i'm going 850w corsair is because on newegg, 750w corsair is $110 and 850w corsair is $110 lol The 850w has a $30 MIR and the 750w has a $10 MIR
For $1047 , i can get an AMD build . The only differences are: AMD Phenom II 955 BE = $159 ( 20% bing CB ) ASUS Formula III = $187 ( 6% bing CB ) G. Skill 2x2 DDR3 1333 MHz = $80 So... should i go i7 for $1150? Or should i go with the AMD build for $1050 ? Some more questions, does that EVGA motherboard support XFire? And should i just buy the Video Card and CPU now? The 20% bing cash back ends at the end of August... so i only have like 10 days to decide!! Oh and i'm also changing to a XFX 4870 XXX edition 1GB GPU and that costs $134
I wouldnt get the board for that much, theres better boards for cheaper such as the: 790gx series in gigabyte and asus / asrock 790x boards 785g would be the boards for you.
