I'm running a 5.1 surround sound speaker system on XP.
When i max the audio it begins to skip. at lower levels its ok. it doesen't matter if i turn it up on the IDT Audio control panel, the media player or the speakers, when it gets above a certain level it starts to skip and the inputs on the IDT Audio contol panel start to go screwy... any ideas?

Are you using your mobo's integrated audio hardware, or a stand-alone sound card?
