I am looking at the 2 to decide which laptop to buy. I am looking for speed and power More about : difference su7300 t6600 intel pendium chip godbrother November 13, 2009 12:04:52 AM Get the T6600. The SU is clocked at 1.3Ghz, whilst the T6600 is clocked at 2.2Ghz. Almost a Ghz faster. The only difference is the SU has 3MB cache opposed to the 2MB cache the T6600 has. But don't let that fool you. T6600 is the way to go. Shadow703793 a b à CPUs November 13, 2009 12:41:08 AM ^Agreed. HOWEVER, the Max TDP on the SU is just 10W, compaired to the 35W for the T6600. http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42791 http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=37255 Depending on what you do, the SU may be an option, esp. if battery life is important. Shadow703793 a b à CPUs November 16, 2009 9:44:13 PM ^ YOU CAN'T ADD the Core speeds like that. The speed rating is for ALL the cores. If I did that, I'd have a 30.4 Ghz i7 920 (see sig) cjl a b à CPUs November 16, 2009 9:54:42 PM sunshine11 said:But is the 1.3 GHz rating per core, actually producing 2.6 GHz, making the SU7300 faster? Also, as Shadow said, you can't add the core speed like that. godbrother November 20, 2009 12:21:33 AM sunshine11 said:But is the 1.3 GHz rating per core, actually producing 2.6 GHz, making the SU7300 faster? I'm just explaining it in the languge the average joe would understand, I know thats now how it works.)
