i have a nvidia geforce 8400 gs 512mb ddr2 for pci slots (not pci-e)

i'm trying to figure out if this is a 64mb video card or if it is higher so i can play spore. Also, i've been having some problems watching hd movies with the card and was wondering if it's beyond the cards capacity.

i think it will be hard for you to play that game with that card. does your mother board using AGP? if so you can look for ATi 3000 / 4000 AGP series.

anyway what is your motherboard model?

not sure, but it's pretty bad, no agp slots

I'm not sure what you mean by 64mb card. If you are referring to the amount of memory...you posted it yourself. 512mb. The 8400 gs is a pretty weak card, if your motherboard has a pci-e slot, or even an agp slot, you might want to consider an upgrade.
