Can I add a Quad Core Duo into my Mac-mini to replace the current 1.5Ghz Core Solo ?
If so what is the correct model# to suit.

You'd have some serious heat issues if it is possible.

Also, since it's apple, I'd bet they have the CPU soldered into the board.

Fortunately it is not soldered in - It is socketed.

Then you need to find out if it's in a socket 775 or a mobile variant.

If it's the actual Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo), then it's the mobile variant, core duo CPUs were never released for desktops. If thats the case it might be a little difficult to get an upgrade.

You sure it's socket 775? I double checked, and intel never made socket 775 core solos. The entire yonah line were the mobile variants only.
