That is the computer im using, there have been no changes made to it as of yet. Im looking into buying a new Nvidia graphics card but im not sure which oen to get as im not sure what is compatable... The specifications say i have 1 PCI-e x16 slot (the one currently in use, holding my 8500 GT card that came with the system)
First off, how do i even know what kind of PCI-e slot this is? (1.0,1.0a,1.1,2.0)
Secondly, what card would you all reccomend?
The 9800 GT looks like a good buy for 100$, and its a drastic improvment to my 8500 GT... I really have my eyes set on the GeForce GTX 275, for only 200$ it seems like a great bargain... but i dont know if the upgrade in quality between the two of them really justifies double the cost...
Any card that can run 3D games such as WoW/Lineage 2 and other similar games at full capacity is what im looking for..
Right now im mainly into a game called Dungeon Runners by NC Soft, and i cant keep a solid 60FPS most likely due to the fact my graphics card is horrible (my reasoning for this being that everyone i ask who states they keep a solid 60FPS while playing has a 512MB GFX card, while mine is a measy 256MB, and also when something graphicly tasking comes along like a large group of players or monsters, my FPS drops from 60 to 40, the worst that happens thus far is when i cast a certain spell that shoots animations in all directions, i drop down to 20!)
