Basically I am gonna get this with an AMD Phenom x4 9600 and maybe later on in life i would like to crossfire, it does have 2 pcie 16x slots but i am not sure if it will be able to crossfire since it only mentions hybrid sli.

No that board is a NVIDIA 750a SLI which as it name explains supports SLI,for CrossFire support(and since u want a AMD CPU) u need to go with a AMD 790FX chipest

To clarify: with that board you can only use two nVidia cards in SLI. If you want to Crossfire two ATI cards, what Maziar said.
