I purchased the following Enclosure with two 500 gig drives making 1 TB through Raid 0. http://www.amazon.com/Cavalry-Storage-CADB-U32-Personal...

So the other day I noticed the drive was offline from the computer and green light in the front was blinking along with the internal fan not working as well. So a quick search and I found that the enclosure is toast. My question is what can I do to retrieve this data back. Do I need to buy another raid 0 enclosure? I would rather buy something I can install in my desktop to get them back online then copy the data over to my Drobo and off of these two drives.

Any help or direction would be great

Going forward, start regular backups on an external disk. RAID is not a substitute for backup.

Yes I understand that, the drive has nothing that I care if I lose but if I can get it by hooking it up to another Raid 0 system then thats fine. I just read about my motherboard having raid built in so I will try that and see what happens.

For your information, I am using my motherboard RAID, and set up RAID 1 (mirroring).
