I'm browsing internet for some time, haven't found any SLC based SSD drive, with SATA3 interface. As I have been reading, SLC is much faster and reliable than MLC ones, but still, if there is no SATA3 SLC's, but there is a bunch of MLC's with SATA3, does that mean SLC development is stopped by manufacturers?
I'm considering to buy a 30-60 GB SSD for my Win system. Reading through articles, understood that I need SSD either with PCI-E or SATA3 interface, with ~500 Mb/s speed. Currently, I see that only MLC is avilable - no SLC's, is that true?

SLC SSD's are MUCH more expensive than MLC SSD's and typically reserved for Enterprise usage that can justify the expense. The average user will gain little change in their user experience with SLC SSD's while paying 3x more for smaller capacity SLC SSD's.
