I recently purchased DD3 Crucial Ballistix with leds 1600 8-8-8-24, I had some issues I thought it was the ram, got some Corsair 9-9-9-24 1600 and the Corsair seems more stable, the Ballistix I mean works as rated, but tried mem test at 7-7-7-24 instantly started erroring out, the Corsair runs 8-8-8-24, and when I had it at 7-7-7-24 it went about half way through before getting errors. I have gigabtye up4p mobo, I've always used corsair with Gigabyte, seems to like this brand better, anyway, think it's worth shipping the crucial back to new egg, and keep the corsair, or just go around the corner and drop the corsair off at frye's and get money back.
Anyone else have experience with Crucial Memory? Corsair seems to have been better to me, I do like the leds on the crucial mem though. Or is this normal Corsair better with Gigabyte or is it all in my head?
