hi all,
Yesterday i got gigaworks S750 by creative. such expensive speakers and now i cant connect them with my laptop.

As my laptop only has a green output :sarcastic:

My only option is this thing:

Creative XFi Surround 5.1 USB

Will all my 7 speakers work with this thing.

I already paid 300 pounds for the speakers and dont wanna pay more.....

Right only i am listening to only center, and sub, excellent sound btw.

Do you have a 5.1 system or a 7.1 system? A 7.1 system has 8 speakers, not 7 and this one only supports 5.1 so you wont get your left and right sides only the fronts, rear, center and sub. I wouldnt have dropped that much on a sound system for a laptop, that also isnt a high quality USB interface, it only has 96KHz sampling, good desktop sound cards have 192KHz so you wont be getting the best quality sound but its better than just center and sub.

you could have googles gigaworks s750?

Its 7.1 . what about the upmix from 5.1 to 7.1 or 6.1 to 7.1 as there is a switch behind the sub.
