APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within the next month.

BUDGET RANGE: Up to about US$1000 (NZ$1500)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Movies, Web

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, DVD drive.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: There isn't really a 1 stop shop of well priced parts in NZ. Pricespy maybe, though does have what is available over the various stores. Though Newegg is fine, just after an idea.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Any

OVERCLOCKING: Would prefer not to.
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: This computer will be mainly for the upcoming DA: Origins, i want to be able to play a game on max settings as soon as i get it, instead of waiting til i next upgrade.
The "recommended" spec for it are:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz Processor or equivalent
RAM: 4 GB (Vista) or 2 GB (XP)
VIDEO: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
AMD Phenom II X3 Triple-Core 2.8 GHz or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space

But thats just recommended and to me even those seem pretty low. Like i said i would like to be able to play it on max, not just medium.
I haven't a clue as to what parts etc i want (or even what works with what anymore). I don't care about it being pretty or not. As long as it preforms and isn't too noisy its all good :D

Cheers :)

I'll just post newegg since I'm unfamiliar with NZ sites, sorry. One note, this Mobo doesn't support Crossfire.
