Hi pleas can you tell me the different between this one SATA2 7200 250GB WD CAVIAR 2500JS 8MB and this one WDC WD2500KS-00MJB0 (232 GB, IDE)?

The WD2500KS has a 16MB buffer. That info can be found at wdc.com.

Thank you, but i'm asking which one is better? I think that the guy that repair my computer put something that is not what i had and i have had this one HDD SATA2 7200 250GB WD CAVIAR 2500JS 8 MB!

thanks a lot.
I was thinking that the guy in service make a joke with me, because he gave me a hdd which had less gb this one has 232, ond mine was 25ogb, and a different type of HD.

Read this review and you'll see that the difference between both drives is minimal: http://www.behardware.com/art/imprimer/624/. By current standards, they are slow.
