I have a Dell Latitude CPI and when you turn it on, the screen goes competely white. You can hear windows starting up, but you can't see anything. Has the screen gone bad? What can I do to fix it?

Thanks,
Tami

Could be bad, what model and how old is the laptop? You can buy LCD monitor and plug it in to use the machine, it would be half the price of a new laptop LCD panel...

Sounds like the cable or LCD controller went bad. If you know how to fix it, you can try to check the power which goes to LCD.
If you don't, you may want to get another laptop. Dell CPi is an old machine.
