hi guys i have a question,, it is ok to overclock my geforce 210 with 1 gb ddr3.. its stock temperature is about 43 to 45 degrees..then i overclock here GPU clock-644 mhz (default clock 589 mhz) ..memory clock-530 mhz (default 500 mhz) shader clock 1427 mhz (default 1402 mhz)....then the temperature goes up to 55 degrees to 65 degrees...ok my question is..(IS IT SAFE TO HAVE THAT TEMPERATURE??) i think that if you force your card to get his max temperature then it get toasted ryt??

65*C is nothing, i seen cards goes up to/near 80*C 24/7 without any problem but after the mid 85*C too long, it start causing problem lol... My GT 220 right now is OC with MSI Afterburner and max was around the mid 70s, Just stay under 80*C than your good...

Max temp is when it immediately shut down which will never gets to it unless it got OC too high or fan not running... At 85-90*C, it'll start to have problem like "Driver has stopped responding" which down clock the Video Card until computer restart...

Nothing can be damaged unless you over volt the video card which you should know the risk of over volting it... The MSI After Burner should gives the voltage recommended in the BIOS(VideoCard BIOS-If you can select or see, it means that it is locked which is where you will over volt it for high clock) so in order to over volt, you have to go inside the MoBo/Video Card BIOS and over volt it...

LOL... I Gained a little or hardly noticeable performance from 1-2 FPS in AVA(Steam free game) and I still lag a bit because of explosion... I Used it on my i7-950 OC to 3.8GHz and still lag a bit but playable with around 40FPS Average and 17FPS Min seen but lagged more with my old AMD Anthlon x2 4200 2.2GHz with 20-30FPS Average(Both set-up was OCed)...

That's not true. From overclocking my gigabyte 560ti factory OC from 900 MHz stock to 950 MHz, I've got a wooping 8 average fps boost in battlefield 3.

You got a stronger card... You not see the different in performance of the 210 and 560ti? 210 is weak and of course it barely increase FPS by 1-2 which is unnoticeable... My 220's OC isn't even noticeable...

oh FFS, he isnt OC'ing a 560ti god damn it! he has a gt210!!!!!!!!!!!! you will NOT see that kind of an increase on a GT210!!!!!!!!!
If he played BF3 with that he might get 2 FPS (if it even starts at all), so he overclocks by 55mhz ( 11%) he may see 11% increase AT BEST, which is 0.22FPS

Well, he shouldn't be playing Battlefield 3, but in games that his card gets him 40 fps, he will see a boost.

My EVGA GT 220 can run MW3 at max setting without much lag since my CPU is a i7 950 lol... I played BF3 and I was lagging even with the lowest setting possible... BF3 is more realistic BUT it's too graphic intensive awhile MW3 is more of CPU...
