I am getting error message, "Disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter" when i try to start my computer..

Kindly help me resolve this issue or has my computer crashed?

Try checking whether your HDD is listed in the system during POST or not.. Sounds to me that your system didn't detect your OS HDD, check the power connection to the HDD too..

And the data cable too at both ends,in some systems heat can cause this sort of inconvenience...:)
