Ok, my question is how does the 5870 support 6 displays on one card? Looking at the supposed pictures, it looks like there are 2 DVI ports, 1 DisplayPort, and 1 HDMI ports. How do they hook up 6 monitors to it? This would be great, seeing that you'd be able to use all 6 in crossfire with another card then.

You're getting the 5850 confused with the 5870 which has six Displayports whilst the 5850 looks to have 2x DVI 1x HDMI and 1x Displayport.

I guess time will tell. The issue I have with that though, is out of 5 monitors I have, only my 3008wfp has displayport.

With ATi HydraVision, display could be distibuted.

thanks for the pic Kari. Looks like there are displayport to dvi adapters also. I should be in business when the 5870x2 comes out!

Wow, pair that with dual Instanbul CPU's, 24gb of ram and have each of those monitors be a virtual desktop or machine!
