How to find what motherboard i have

Hello,
I have a motherboard that I think the serial number is C42S002-01274-60-M7A708-C08, if that's the right number. It won't detect my Sata hard drive at all. Help!

Sometimes with older boards you have to enable sata hard drives in the bios. Look for a hard drive section and set it to legacy or turn sata on. Otherwise you could have a bad drive, bad cables, bad port, etc.
