I have recently started school at ITT-Tech and don't know a very much about computers. They want us design our own dream computer. Not to sure what I need but here are a few things I might use it for. Making and recording music, designing tattoos and other art, research and storage, maybe some gaming and web page design and general use. I also would like more than one kick ass moniter. Any suggestions? I need help with all aspects.

Currently top of the tree is the i7 9** series cpu's, which means you will require a socket 1366 motherboard. Both ASUS and Gigabyte produce some good items without breaking the bank.

I would recommend :-

Intel i7 920 CPU
Titan Fenrir HSF
ASUS P6T SE
Nvidia 275GT / ATI5*** series
2 x 1TG Samsung Spinpoint F3 HDD's
Antec 1200 Case
Be Quiet Dark Power PSU
CD/DVD-RW
