Hi,
I used to be able to run chkdsk c:/f from the command
line using XP Home. It would say it would run it on next
boot. It worked, then XP loaded normally.

Now, for some reason it wont do it anymore.
When I go to the command line & run chkdsk/f, it says it
will run on next boot.
When I restart, XP loads normally WITHOUT first running
chkdsk.
Thanks,
Bill Latshaw NJ

Bill, check at Kelly's http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Choose C and scroll to Check Disk.
