http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/3079/90280415.jpg well im pretty anxious for my first gaming computer that i ever built so yea, tried to drop the price down to 850's but couldnt =p, any ideas and by the time i do buy it will the price drop to the 800's? thx.
o yea will the i5 be better? performance and price.
That is a very good build that you have come up with...Its good to go...
Maybe a little more powerful PSU (OCZ Fatality 550W/ OCZ Mod 600W) would be good just in-case if you want to add more powerful graphics card or want to go crossfire...
Its a good system but things to consider for gaming is the match between the 4850 gfx card and the 1080 p screen .
Yes a 4850 is strong enough to game on a monitor of that resolution but its marginal IMO since you will be turning quality settings down .
You will get better frame rates with a 22 inch 1680 x 1050 monitor
And of course thats about the most expensive 4850 you can buy . You can have the exact same performance for $30 less
But i5 is the wild card . I would hold off from buying and see what happens to AMD pricing once there are a few real benchmarks for i5 .
o ok, ill wait then, the new game i wnat to play and school doesnt start til sept 24 so i got time =p. ill post when the chip comes out. it come on the 9th right?
