Adding a hd drive from an emachine T2958 to an emachine T5234

My emachine T2958 power died. I want to place the hd (w/windows XP) into my emachine T5234 (w/Vista). The T2958 has pictures on it I want. How can I get the emacine T5234 to recognize the added hd? Thanks.

u can do a dual boot in the bios and then save ur pics and format the old HDD
