I lost frames after a certain point? (GPU)

I'm running an intel i3 2100, with a gtx 560ti and a 430w power supply.

Is it possible that i could be bottlenecking?

I'm going to redo my Overclock on my GPU but i was wondering why i lost frames at a certain point?

I read that it could mean the OC is unstable, and other things i read suggested that i could be bottlenecking.

Any advice?

well its possible you are bottlenecking but what games does it do this? if your playing some of the more cpu demanding games then your probably not going to have consistent frames no matter how good your cpu is? also how much does it drop?

I was doing a heaven stress test and i lost about 2-4 frames after increases the memory clock a little further.

right now i have the core at 1010mhz, voltage at 1.1, and memory at 2400mhz and its running good, seeing a nice 4-5 frame increase and a 60 degree temp average at 80% fan speed (set to auto)

But last night when i pushed to to 1020 i lost about 5 frames =O

Im guessing i should stick to 1010 for the core clock?

hmm give a more complete spec list, one thing to note is the 560 ti recommends a 500 watt psu so some of it could be your psu but you don't exactly have a high end cpu
