With the new i3, i5, and i7 processors, what has happened to FSB? For example, the ASUS P7P55D doesn't list an FSB. Is there no FSB? How do you determine the speed of the motherboard? I heard of GT/s, but I am not sure what this means, how it relates to FSB.

Can someone help me understand this?

Thanks!

They still have a "bus" though some sites refer to it as BCLK but the way the CPU / mobo speed is still the CPU multiplier x the "Bus" speed

My i7 920 has a multiplier of 20 and a BCLK speed of 133mz = 2.66 ghz

Processors with an integrated memory controller no longer have anything called an "FSB".
