*note: imho you should go with the BFG GeForce GTX 275 OC Graphic card, when in SLI they will be faster then your GTX 295. But for now I would just get one and see what nVidia comes out around Nov. with the new 300 series card.

Sorry that ive posted this 6 or something times, whenever i posted it said that the site was unavailable :S.
Thanks for your help guys.
If im not mistaken this:
"Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard" is that three way SLI?
And with two GTX 275's do you think it will make a significant difference when it comes to rendering?

swap the spinpoint for an F2 model, they're just as quick but use less energy.

and the GTX 295 isn't worth it, I know you said your an nvidia fanboy, but for the same price, in a month or less, you'll be able to get two 5870's, and they will be so much better than the GTX 295.

Not a True 16x16x16 and the P6T gets 16x16x4.

But if you want the True 3way 16x you will need to get the P6T6 WS Revolution.

Ah i did think about buying from scan, i liked the idea of the insurance they give if you break it during installation. I will probably go for two GTX275's and then three way sli them with a GT300 (or whatevery they call them).

Cheers for your help :D Ill let you know what i get just before i buy it

^ look at the name, it kinda gives you a clue......

edit: what I should have said in my post above this is that you can't SLI two different types of cards, not GPU's, so you can SLI two GTX 275's no matter the make and how much memory, but you can't SLI a GTX 275 and 295.

Ah i see. As i need to build the computer ASAP, and cant really wait for DX11 cards unless they come out now :D
Do you think it would be better to get two eVGA GTX 275 1792MB's = 3584mb
Or one eVGA Co-Op edition 1792?

And cant you just download DX11 to get some benefits of it?
After buying a card now i will wait about 6-12 months and buy a new one.

Thanks

Ah that sucks. Oh well, there wont be many DX11 games out for about a year anyway and unless its REALLY good (unlike DX10 and theres still not tones of games out) i wont get a DX11 card any sooner. Do you know when they will be released at all?

Im just going to get the gtx 275's and then in a year get a dx11 card and throw my old parts together as a lan computer probably, or build a render farm. Its not like i wont be able to play Crysis 2 on a Dx10 card with DX11 installed on the computer. I just wont be able to take full advantage of the graphics available.
