I can confirm that Crysis Warhead, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fear, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 and 2, and both Farcry games work under 7. The remaining games listed (along with earlier CoD games) I do not own.

i've played all of them accept dreamfall:the longest journey in Win7 x64

almost all of these games will work, provided they have been coded competently & w/ at least a 32-bit installer.

Crysis=Yes
Crysis Warhead=Yes
Mass Effect=Not sure
Bioshock=Yes
Fear=Yes
CODMW1=Yes
CODMW2=Not sure
Farcry=Not sure

however, i am pretty sure more major apps are backwards compatible w/ windows 7 and even it wont work, you can run it in compatability mode of previous OS's like vista and xp.

Home Premium doesn't have XP mode... that is true... however, you can still use compatibility mode. Those are two totally separate things.
