Hey guys I overclocked my 2500k to 4.3ghz and all seemed well until i did my prime95 stress test.. all the cores are running at full load at 100% besides core 4 which had an error and isnt running during the test. I opened chrome and itunes and core 4 was functioning and got to about 60% according to core temp but I am not sure what is going on here. Any help?

Ok well i changed multiplier down to 4.2 and it seems to be working perfectly fine now.... I guess this is the max I can push this 2500k (which is fine) While I am here does 1.36v for 4.2ghz sound like alot? My temps don't go past 60c so it is no issue right now just wondering if its abit high.

That is a ton of voltage, but your temps are fine. What cooler do you have? Your mobo can be causing the low OC capability.
