What is your RAM usage like? Maybe you need more RAM. I have 6GB in my main Windows 7 machine, and I can run several virtual machines at once using VirtualBox.

Increase your RAM and scan your C drive and delete virus.

Yes, increasing your RAM will help. How much are you allocating to the virtual machine?

I run XP (VPC) on a similar spec machine to yours (windows 7 pro) but I have 4 gb (3.12gb) RAM (32 bit).
I'm not an expert, but suspect there is no way I could do it with 1.5gb.
Maybe someone with more knowledge can advise how to look at your RAM usage when running a virtual machine and if it's possible to allocate your resources better.

i am using 512 MB of RAM for windows server 2008(for windows server 2008 minimum requirement of RAM is 512 MB).

And for windows 7 i am using 512 MB of RAM.

I am afraid that if you want to speed up your computer manually by others, you should pay for it .But i know a website which can do a free manually detection, i have tested, www.anylives.com , you can have a try. As to the speed up articles, the website has some, and the registry is better. If you want to speed up by yourself, you can try it. Or maybe you should update your hardware, such as the memory and clean system garage often, uninstalled the programs you don't use usually

You need more RAM in your computer. You are only leaving XP with 512MB of RAM when you run both the VMs. You really need to upgrade to 3 or 4 MB of RAM so each can have at least 1GB.

Thank you, may be upgrading my RAM is the best option.

Thank you for suggestions.

Yea RAM is massive, but dont forget about your registry, and your catches. As well as just simply cleaning your fans of dust.. It all makes a difference. I think I have posted this before, but the most non-spammy program for the registry is PC tuneup maestro ( http://www.compuclever.com/products/pc-tuneup-maestro/ ) or CC cleaner. That ones works too..

Goodluck!
