Recently my 6-year old ThinkPad died because of HDD failure. Now I formatted the HDD, I would like to reinstall XP. Problem is that I don't have recovery CD. Probably my kids played with them, and threw it somewhere. Is there any way to obtain the CD or its image? I think I can use the windows key printed on the laptop to activate it once I have the CD. Can I use an image from a Dell laptop? The windows key on the ThinkPad is for Professional, and I don't know what version is the Dell one.

Since I built a new desktop a few month ago, and has a tablet, I don't want to buy another laptop. This laptop will be used mainly for my wife to watch streaming video or my kids playing some educational games.
