SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming!

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

PARTS PREFERENCES: I would like an Intel motherboard with a core 2 quad or i7. 8 gigs or above of ram any good kind that you can find, and i'm not sure if i should go with ATI or Nvidia its really bothering me. A 1 TB hard drive, a very nice case that has a window and LEDS to make it look sexy.

OVERCLOCKING: nope SLI OR CROSSFIRE: yes i would like either but i'm not sure of what card to use.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1600X1200 doesnt really matter

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: nothing really just trying to find a good video card and a motherboard.

Pick a case you like as that is really personal preference. You wont get any extra performance in games over 6GB on the i7. With your budget i suggest an i7 and a single 4890 or GTX275.

With a build similar to tecmos gamer build you will be able to max everything out

With combos it should bring you under budget, if you need an OS however that will add 110 onto the cost in which case you should go for an AMD build with a 4890.
