Is ONE 4pin for cpu enough?

hi,I have ASUS P5k which has only one 4pin (for cpu)on,and my psu has

two 4pin for cpu but according to my mainboard,one of them must be

used,I wonder if my mainboard had one 8pin(4+4)for cpu,would it make

any difference? would my cpu,core 2 duo E6750,work better in that

situation?I mean especially IN GAMES

I think the 8-pin CPU power is mostly for the newer boards.

does it make it better? could be, but as you said, your motherboard only has 4-pins and it was designed ti use 4-pins then i dont think so.
