I recently completed a new system that has an odd quirk. When I shut it down, either from the OS or from the BIOS with the power switch, after being off about 3-4 seconds it powers back up!

I had this recently on a computer, and the cause was the BIOS setting start-up on network event. If you have something plugged into your network card socket this is probably the reason.

Excellent idea; however, I can't find any setting like that in my BIOS. Under Power Management, there were several items, but all were disabled and none referred to Network.
