Shouldn't be a problem as long as you get one with good reviews.

I have the OCZ 700W powering my i7 rig - never causes any problem, modular cabling and quiet too.

I have seen mixed reviews.

I favor Corsair and Antec.

+1 what jsc said

Some OCZ models are better than others. That's why I asked if you had a particular model in mind. If we knew which model then we could advise you better.

They seem at least good enough if you aren't pushing them too hard. i use them for budget/office builds, but for medium to high end gaming machines I go with Corsair or PC P&C.

I've been using Antec in personal and customer builds for years now - never a failure (unlike Akasa).

Well,,for what it is worth ,,I am running an OCZ StealthXExtreme 600w on an exclusively gaming rig, works just fine,,Hardwaresecrets.com reviewed this model and said that OCZ could have sold it as a 700w as it will draw 720w with no sweat at all..:)

Since you want a reliable PSU I would say get a Corsair or PC P&C or Antec.
These ones are more reliable.
OCZ's are also good but there are mixed reviews(As others have pointed out).

On a side note, what ever happened to PC P&C? After they were bought by OCZ they were still fine, but recently (at least on Newegg) they seem to have disappeared except for a few very low or very high ones. Are they being phased out?

I read somewhere ( I think it was the JG forum ) that they were bringing out a new series of power supplies, we can only hope that they continue thier quest for high quality ( and maybe get rid of their bias towards modular and multi-rail units )
