PC TURNS OFF AFTER 2-3 SECONDS HELP!!

Before I went to sleep for the FIRST time i turned off my computer by pressing the power button ONCE not HOLDING it. So it turned off normally. When I came back from school it turned on for about 5 seconds with the neons blinking and fan being slow and turns off. I tried turning it on again and shuts off after like 2 seconds.

IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH POWER BUTTON OR PSU OR WAT????????????????????????????????????????????????

PLZ HELP

Turn off the power switch on the back of the PC and let it sit for a few minutes, and see if it comes back on. Its possible sleep may have gotten borked.

That being said, it does sound like a PSU issue...

Full specs please, hard to guess what might be at fault without knowing the options.

make sure that the pushpins on the heatsink are all down and securely locked in place. This is a common issue with intel heatsinks and will cause the processor to heat up, hit its thermal thresh hold, and shut the system down.

I took it off and putt it back on and nothing..... PLZ HELP......
