Hi, I've just receive my new EVGA GTX 260 from Amazon & I've notice that it came without the back cover.
Cant this affect the graphic card safety ?
please let me know.

If I am not mistaken, the older cards didn't come with one but the newer ones do.
The gtx260s I see on newegg have the backplate, so if I were in your position, I would return it.

lol - send it back. You don't want to run it without its heat sink.

Where's the fan? Maybe someone "salvaged" the fan, sent it back, and now you have it lol
