Is My PSU Enough To Handle 9600GT ?

I'm planning to buy a video card that might be Zotac 9600GT Eco(no external power required) or Palit 9600GT Super.

I have 450W Zebronics PSU(Model:ZEB-450W Sata Plus)


Intel E2180
Gigabyte G31
2x2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
640GB WD HDD SATA
250GB Seagate HDD SATA
Samsung DVD+RW
120mm LED Fan
120mm Fan

Zebronics does not appear to be available in the USA. I could not find technical data at the Zebronics web site.

Your computer system with one 9600 GT video card would not require very much power so the power supply might be okay.

I believe they are a rebrand of OCZ for India.


That being the case, given the specs and card it should do just fine.

I agree with Johnny and Viper, for most of the 9600gt's they only require the wattage of about 300 i think. Somewhere around there but you know =P

No idea who the oem is (and doubt they've got anything to do with OCZ ), judging by the lack of any information on thier website I'd say it was a discontinued model.
Thier 480 watt unit ( minimal info given ) only provides 22 amps to the 12v, that doesn't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy about the 450.

Being a distributor for OCZ and using the same oem platform in thier products are 2 entirely different things.

Still makes it a rebrand, doesn't it? OCZ itself would just be a branding of the OEM PSU. If Zebronics distributes that PSU for OCZ but uses their brand name, doesn't that make it a rebrand?

Huh ?
Zebronics doesn't distribute that psu for OCZ, they are the regional distributor for OCZ, in other words you can purchase OCZ products from Zebronics.

No, sorry, its a Antec/Earthwatts 380. But I think you should be ok, but if not there are pleanty of inexpensive psu out there that can.
