OE is sending email to someone not in contact list

Hello,
When I select all the people in my contact list and send them an email I get the "Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently" notice on an email address that is not in my contact list and has never been to the best of my recollection. Can you tell me why this is happening?

Have you scanned for viruses/malware? They typically hijack your mail client and contact lists.

You could have a secondary bad email for someone, or two people under different entries.

I see this all the time, someone gets an updated contact info for a person, adds them in as a new contact, but leaves the old name in there as well. Or adds a secondary email instead of editing the primary.
