I would like to upgrade my C P's Intel chip to something faster.

It has a pentuim 4 chip running at 2.0. It is a gateway.

Your options are pretty limited. I suggest you look into buying an entirely new computer, recycling your display and other peripherals as needed.

If your BIOS supports it, get a cheap chip off ebay, need model of system.

I agree with r_manic, you should build a new computer, the pentium 4 chips are not that good anyway.

Post your budget and maybe we can give you some suggestions.
