So I have my parts ready for order, if you're interested:

So my question is how can I be sure that the CPU will work with the motherboard? Is there a way I can upgrade the BIOS without having to buy another CPU?

Here is the CPU supported list for version 2.0 of the motherboard. I don't see the 545.

The motherboard should come with a recent version of the bios.
Updating it should not be necessary.

The version 1 of the motherboard shows the 545 is compatible starting with BIOS F6.
