Hi:

(First time overclocker...)

I am trying to overclock my P5B/E6300 computer. Everything I read tells me I should easily be able to increase the FSB to something like 375. 300 works fine, with CPU temps at about 50 deg. However, if I go over 300 my BIOS won't start, and I have to remove the CMOS battery to force it to reset. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? My BIOS has been updated to the most recent rev.

My system specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Mainboard: Asus P5B
Physical Memory : 2048MB DDR2-SDRAM
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
Case: Antec NSK4400 (380W)

Thanks,
Elpoca
