Am i missing something?

That will be my "build" in a week or so, am i missing something? Like a power exstension cord or a socket 1366 mount? Like this : CCF mounting bracket

(I plan on using some cable managment in the back of the antec 1200 so thats why im asking if i might need a power exstension cord, any other exstension cords i should look into, which brand?)

More about missing something
  1. Yes, you will need the mounting bracket in order for your cooler to work with your motherboard.

The extension cable isn't required, but will probably help with cable management. For $9, it's not a bad idea.

    1ST PC CORP. 12" 8-pin EPS extension cable Model CB-8M-8F - Retail $8.99
  2. oh it already comes sleeved, cool. Any other cables i might need? Like for GPU?
  3. No, you don't need any extra cables for your GPU. That PSU is major overkill for your system, though. A Corsair 750TX or 850TX would offer plenty of power for that system even if you added another 4890 in crossfire.

    CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Retail $119.99 - $20 MIR

    CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Retail $139.99 - $20 MIR

You could even pick up the high end modular 80+ silver rated 750HX or 850HX for the amount of money you were planning on spending on that 1000W PSU.

    CORSAIR CMPSU-750HX 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail $164.99

    CORSAIR CMPSU-850HX 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail $189.99
  4. yeah i dunno why i overdo on the 1000w, im just afraid my system wont get enough power since im adding a couple of things, nzxt sentry, cold cathodes and such, so thats why i upgraded the power supply to 1000w, dunno if a 750w will be able to run all the add-ons
  5. None of those accessories will use enough power to justify a 1000W PSU. A quality 850W PSU is still more than enough power for your system.
