Ok, I have been looking at the Nvidia 3D vision and am wondering how good it works.
Also, does it work with CRT monitors or just LCD monitors of something like 120htz? I have a CRT monitor and it would be nice if I would not have to get a replacement.
Thanks!

And THAT is the reason I am wanting to get a new computer
Any CRT capable of a 100Hz refresh rate (or higher) will work, as will a number of 3D capable HD televisions and projector. As for LCD monitors, only certain, true 120Hz capable displays will work.
some games may not work but you can try this ...
look in registry for:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlsSet\Control\Video\{GUID}\0000
(if you don't find this entry search in registry for "nv_modes"
There is a Key "NV_Modes". Replace the string of that key for the new one above( save old values before)
all modes with =1 is 60Hz. all modes with =20 gives you 100Hz, all with=10 are 85Hz. Compris?

Hmm.... I completely understood the first paragraph, then part of the second.... But what exactly is the purpose of going and changing the registry....?
Thanks for the reply!
